Hey everyone!
I was wandering if there is someone wanting to help me compile a "List of plants in the Bible", just like the List of the animals in the Bible.
Or we could make a new category called "Flora and Fauna of the Bible".
What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea. A quick search of Google turned up several pages already studying this topic, so you should have no trouble finding a starting point. Obviously be sure not to copy text which would infringe upon others' copyright (any commentary found on such web sites), although the bible verses you would ultimately be referencing would be public domain for most bible versions and translations due to the (rather old) date of publication. Also be wary of plants whose mention only very few sources support, or which are based on ambiguous passages or disputed translations of the original Hebrew/Aramaic (cannabis, for example). — CharlotteWebb 06:41, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
