Description

October 27, 2010.

The Medical Corps concludes a final test for the largest course of medical doctors to ever graduate in IDF history. Approximately 50 newly-appointed doctors will be finishing the course next week and getting their placement throughout the various IDF units in the sea, land, and air. This marks the IDF's final step in filling the noticeable lack of doctors in the army, and from now on there will be a doctor in every battalion.

The Commander of the Medical Corps, Brig. Gen. Dr. Nachman Ash, tested the IDF doctors-to-be and congratulated the participants: “These are doctors full of motivation, with a sparkle in their eyes. They are ready and willing to do their work. There is no doubt that from now on, with the manning of the positions in all field units, the medical response for soldiers will correspond to the need.”
