English: Holy Ark in Hurva Synagogue. Per French caption: Old City of Jerusalem - Hourva Synagogue rebuilt, and inaugurated on March 14 and 15, 2010 - The holy ark is located in the eastern wall, the one closest to the Temple Mount, and of which the largest remains original part. On the curtain of the ark (Parokhet), a verse from Psalm 137: "If I ever forget you, Jerusalem, may my right hand forget me!". We find another verse of the same psalm in the wall paintings.
Français : Vieille ville de Jerusalem - Synagogue Hourva reconstruite, et inaugurée les 14 et 15 mars 2010 - L'arche sainte est située dans le mur de l'est, celui qui est le plus proche du Mont du Temple, et dont il subsiste la plus grande partie d'origine. Sur le rideau de l'arche (Parokhet), un verset du psaume 137 : "Si je t'oublie jamais, Jérusalem, que ma droite m'oublie !". On retrouve un autre verset du même psaume dans les peintures murales.
