Español: En la isla de El Hierro existen perros de aspecto lobuno, que tradicionalmente eran empleados en el pastoreo de cabras y ovejas.
En la foto vemos una lobita herreña, no estándar (aunque con muchas de las características del proyecto de patrón racial), procedente del Pozo de la Salud (Sabinosa, Frontera, El Hierro), nacida en 2005. En la foto de 2013 está con 9 años, viviendo en la Península, en Madrid. En la foto aparece con el pelo cortado en una peluquería canina, y por eso parece más blanca, viéndose el subpelo muy denso. |
