J.-C., Ptolémée Ier Sôtêr, roi d'Égypte, entre dans Jérusalem le jour du sabbat, massacre les Hébreux et se rend maître de la ville. D'après une autre interprétation, ce pourrait être le retour d'Antiochos Épiphane à Jérusalem, vers 168 av. J.-C.
