Description

Paraty (RJ)- O Museu de Arte Sacra está novamente de portas abertas depois de quatro anos de reformas. Administrado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (Ibram), órgão vinculado ao Ministério da Cultura (MinC), o museu reúne um diversificado e precioso acervo com importantes relíquias histórico-religiosas da região. Uma procissão levou a imagem de Santa Rita e Santo Antônio da Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios (onde ficaram durante a reforma) até o MAS. Lá aconteceu a solenidade de reabertura, com a presença do ministro da Cultura, Juca Ferreira, do presidente do Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (Ibram), Carlos Roberto Brandão, do prefeito de Paraty, Carlos José Gama Miranda, e do diretor do museu, Júlio César Dantas.
