DescriptionRoute 60 - West Bank, Palestine; between Nablus and Jerusalem.ogv
English: Traveling south on Route 60 from Nablus toward Jerusalem in the West Bank, Palestine.
Route 60 is a north-south highway that runs along the length of Palestine’s central watershed connecting the cities of Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Beersheba. Also known as “The Way of the Patriarchs” due to its documented use by many of the patriarch figures of the Abrahamic religions (and the preservation of these references in scriptural texts), the route has been a transportation lifeline for the region’s population for millennia. In the present day the road remains a vital thoroughfare, and is a site of significant contrast and contestation as it passes through Palestinian cities and villages, and Israeli settlements.
Filmed on a Samsung Galaxy Note S9 in June 2019 during an excursion with Green Olive Tours.
