English: The village boundary of Silwan in 1943–1946 is outlined in green. The boundary of Silwan in 2020 according to the Israeli municipal plan of Jerusalem is outlined in blue (but note that this area is in East Jerusalem so Israeli sovereignty is not widely recognised).
