Hendudar (Persian: هندودر), also Romanized as Hendudur, Hendūdūr; also known as Hanūdār, Hendūdar, Henūdar, and Hindūdar,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Sarband District of Shazand County (formerly Hendudar District),[4] Markazi province, Iran.[5] The city also serves as the administrative center for Hendudar Rural District (formerly Sarband Rural District).[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,863 in 523 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,003 people in 576 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,918 people in 604 households.[2]
