Herzliya Cinematheque

The Herzliya Cinematheque is a movie theater in Herzliya located on Ben Gurion Street 22 (entry from Habaal Shem Tov garden).

Herzliya Cinematheque can seat up to 275 people. It is located in the former Star cinema, which was renovated in 2008.

The Herzliya Cinematheque hosts Israeli and foreign filmmakers, and offers film screenings and lectures by film critics, actors and academics and filmmakers. It also hosts film festivals highlighting different cultures, such as festivals devoted to Indian Cinema (a collaboration between the Cinematheque and the Indian Embassy in Israel) and Japanese Cinema (a collaboration between the Cinematheque and the Israel-Japan Friendship Association).

The Cinematheque is accessible to handicapped and disabled persons. The complex has an elevator for wheelchairs, special seating, special hearing devices for the hearing impaired and other special services.
