Persian Empire (disambiguation)

The Persian Empire was a series of dynasties that ruled over the Iranian Plateau, beginning from 550 BC. However, it also sometimes specifically refers to the Achaemenid Empire (550 BC to 330 BC) which was founded by Cyrus the Great.
