The article should specify whether Arnona was part of the "Planned Corpus separatum" for a Jerusalem neither being Arab nor Jewish, under the 1948 UN partition plan, or whether it had become part of Israel (and consequently of Jerusalem) as a consequence of the Arab-Israel war of 1948.
As it is international consensus among many nationas not to change the official status of the original area designated for the "Corpus separatum", the positioning on an US embassy in Arnona would have different implications depending on the exact location and Arnona's prior status.Meerwind7 (talk) 12:42, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
