Talk:Midrash halakha

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The younger Halakah, despite the dot over the ה, reads "reḥoḳah" and makes it refer to "derek," even determining how far away one must be to be excluded from participation in the feast."

If this is how it is meant to read, the english translation of "derek" should be provided, otherwise most english readers, the vast majority of whom won't understand Hebrew, will be wondering who Derek is, and what people had against him to the extent that he was excluded from participation. --francis 23:20, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It is a hopeless example that is unsuitable for Wikipedia. I suggest it is removed. JFW | T@lk 23:57, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unwarranted revert[edit]

@Editor2020: reverted a set of changes I made yesterday. There was no discussion, and the extent of the rationale (*given in the edit summary) is "Restore better." Reverting material requires a better rationale than that. See WP:ETIQ. Dovid (talk) 14:53, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
