Nesher - other meanings[edit]

Nesher is also the name of a shared taxi company, the name of a malt beer and the name of a cement factory in Ramla.--Gilabrand 19:22, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nesher in Hebrew - Is Vulture not Eagle[edit]

Nesher in Hebrew (נשר)- is Vulture not Eagle. The source is wrong - Please look at the Hebrew article, it is Featured article/ Hanay (talk) 13:44, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the Hebrew article of Vulture. Hanay (talk) 13:48, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

But was it named after voltures nesting in those mountains? The Hebrew article claims that it was named after the Nesher cement factory. The Hebrew article for the cement factory claims that it is not likely that the factory was named after voltures, as it seems that voltures did not nest in Mount Carmel even in the past. That article claims that the factory is probably named after a certain cement factory in Germany named Geier or something similar. Tzafrir (talk) 17:08, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
