another Checkpoint on 443[edit]

At the East end, just short of the junction with the 45 and 436 roads, there is another checkpoint on the 443 road. Worth including it into the table as well? -- KlausFoehl (talk) 16:24, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That plus a few more junctions. I think there are a couple more junctions with no entrance to yellow plates. I'll be on the road in a few weeks and will add them, unless someone gets there before me!--@Efrat (talk) 05:11, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Complete[edit]

We seem to have forgotten that Route 443 begins as a local street near downtown Lod. It's not all high-speed, wind-in-your-hair, pedal-to-the-metal cruising. Just as Route 60 crawls through heavily congested parts of Beer Sheva, Jerusalem and Afula, so I think 443 deserves its full description. As for all those "blocked local roads" in the West Bank, the junctions themselves are not blocked. They are fully functional junctions, including acceleration and deceleration lanes. Furthermore, they are active. Cars and trucks pull off at these dead-end junctions to stop, exchange passengers or cargo (whether legal or illegal), turn around and get back on the highway. Many of these junctions even have brand-new exit signs on the highway at their approach, indicating where the roads would go if they were not blocked. A cruel hoax or an indication of future plans? Well, I'm not big on arguing politics. I just spill it all on the floor and let the activists pick up the pieces. lol. HAPPY TRAILS ! ! ! --@Efrat (talk) 16:06, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
