Rambling lead[edit]

I don't know this subject well, so I am reluctant to edit heavily, but the lead seems to ramble a bit about people and connections that are not central to the subject of the article. It could be much more concise. --Scray (talk) 00:46, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be best to rework the lead, and add the name of the Shrine in Arabic. It's interesting to note that the name for such a structure in Arabic would be similar to the Hebrew. Haykal/Haikal being from a similar semetic root as the Hebrew. NegiSpringfieldof4ch (talk) 14:08, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Location underground[edit]

I have been told by an Israeli librarian that the cylinder housing Dead Sea Scrolls is designed to retract into an underground vault to protect it if Jerusalem ever came under attack. I have found a few English language books mentioning this but I'm not sure if they are reliable sources.
