name of this article[edit]

NOBODY uses the name Komemiyut. Most people don't even know what Komemiyut is. The name of the article should be Talbiya.--Gilabrand 19:57, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Residents?[edit]

1) Wikipedia is not a list of everything there is to know about a topic. Do other articles include a list of each prominent resident? I mean, does Hollywood? Is the goal to list everyone who has a wikipedia page?

2) OK. But Edward Said is deceased, so is he a resident? Could go past and present residents, but someone recently switched out the presidents of Israel because the new one (Rivlin) lives there and a former one (Peres) passed away this last year.

Is there a wikipedia standard for deciding whether someone is on a list of residents and whether the category is relevant to being with? MichelleInSanMarcos (talk) 13:51, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

For example--This might be important to readers from Israel, but is it relevant to world-wide readership? http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/pm-netanyahu-i-grieve-at-the-passing-of-my-cherished-friend-yaakov-neeman/2017/01/01/0/?print Published: January 1st, 2017 The former minister made his home in the Talbiyeh neighborhood of Jerusalem. Map[edit]

A map would be most welcome, as it's almost impossible to figure out the boundaries based just on the text. Arminden (talk) 13:26, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Right, we a sadly lacking a Jerusalem map divided in neighborhoods. Zerotalk 02:51, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Couldn't find one today either. I'll re-post your & my comment on Jerusalem talk-page, I hope you don't mind. Arminden (talk) 17:57, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
