Template title[edit]

Chesdovi, why naming it "global" and adding "aftermath" at the end? - we are strictly speaking of Arab World attacks and regarding attacks two weeks after the armitice agreements of 1949 i think they are falling within the scope of the war (they are directly linked to 1948 war events). How about "Anti-Jewish attacks throughout the Arab World during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War" or simply "Anti-Jewish attacks during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War?Greyshark09 (talk) 16:33, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Global" because we need to make it clear that these attacks took place outside Palestine, for there were many anti-Jewish attacks which took place inside Palestine during the war itself, are we to mention these here? I was thinking of putting "outside Palestine" instead, but then there was the confusion about Israel after 1948. "Throughout the Arab World" may work, but it would include Palestine as well, which I don't think is the intention here.
  • "Aftermath" because, although the Menarsha attack was linked to the war, it cannot really be included in a template which is titled "during" the war, since it took place after it. An attack in 2010 could be seen as being linked to the 1948 war too. Chesdovi (talk) 16:52, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
