Raiders of the Lost Ark[edit]

This template - which I created to group together like-oriented topics - includes a popular culture reference (The movie called Raiders of the Lost Ark) which obviously relates to the topic of the Ark of the Covenant. This is not an exclusively academic or religious template, and should embrace the breadth and variety of related topics. • Freechild'sup? 19:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks unwieldy[edit]

This groups topics which could be listed in the "see also" section of the Ark of the Covenant article. See WP:CLN Madhava 1947 (talk) 06:56, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copper Scroll[edit]

What is the copper scroll doing here? The only thing we really know about the copper scroll is that it is old, copying "something" that is even older, refering to places that no one has ever heard of. Has absolutely nothing to do with the Ark, that is one of the few other facts we know. A lot of nonsensical speculation on tv and in the literature. May have something to do with the Temple. Maybe. But not the ark, per se. Please remove it. It is a nuisance maintaining that article. Having this as an unecessary pointer can only make it worse - an attraction for idlers.Student7 (talk) 23:07, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Link to deleted portal removed[edit]

The Ark of the Covenant portal was recently deleted. I've removed the red link from the template. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 07:02, 8 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
