How should we add roads like Route 40 (Israel) (Kfar Saba-Arava road; Derech Mitzpe Ramon) and Highway 443 (Israel) (Highway 1-Modi'in-Begin Expressway? The first is a major artery (to Eilat) while the latter is more or less a freeway, yet isn't one of the single or double numbered roads? Let me know, TewfikTalk 21:33, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I feel like the other key arteries that are still lacking are Route 40 (Israel), and maybe Route 35 (Israel) and/or Route 65 (Israel) on east-west. If we add much more than that we would probably require a new organisational strategy. Cheers, TewfikTalk 06:56, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why Neshair was deleted, but they do indeed exist. Also, I think that Ayalon should be with the other two urban expressways. Let me know, TewfikTalk 21:53, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with the new location of the Ayalon Highway. True, it’s an urban freeway, the same as Begin, but unlike Begin it also has a numbered designation – Highway 20. I believe its rightful place it after highway 6 and before highway 60. Db1944 05:39, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm aware of its numbering, but I would have a hard time putting it in that order unless its title was something like Highway 20 (Israel). Is renaming ideal/an option? Cheers, TewfikTalk 06:33, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
To tell you the truth, I’ve always felt that the article should be called “Highway 20”, but it seemed a very drastic editing, so I’ve never undertook it. I’d like to hear for other editor on this matter – perhaps a survey? Db1944 14:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Convention seems to be to name the article based on the number, and redirect any popular names. That especially lends itself to when the name only refers to a section of a given road. I'll be WP:Bold. TewfikTalk 04:42, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neshair does NOT EXIST. All the pages you cite that suggest it exists were copied from Wikipedia when Wikipedia incorrectly had a page suggesting that they exist. Wikipedia's page has since been deleted - proof that Neshair doesn't exist. Should they ever obtain at least one plane and put together a flight schedule, then you can include them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.94.125.76 (talkcontribs)

Upon doing some more research, I came upon this AfD which shows that you are absolutely correct. In the future, please come to Talk sooner so that we can avoid confusion (and/or maybe even register for an account?). Cheers, TewfikTalk 17:24, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

roads[edit]

Are all roads acceptable on the template? I don't think so.--Shuki (talk) 21:02, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested aviation modifications[edit]

This template links to Aviation Authority which in turn redirects to Civil Aviation Authority. Although it is not usual policy to design out redirects, the policy does highlight series templates of this type as an example where it is preferable to fix a redirected link (see WP:RDR#NOTBROKEN). I wonder if it would be beneficial to modify this template to link directly to Civil Aviation Authority?

Also, the Civil Aviation Authority page refers to the Israel Civil Aviation Authority. Although that page is currently only a stub, I wonder if it should be included in the template under aviation along with the Israel Airports Authority? --Romney yw (talk) 13:39, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rav-Kav[edit]

I wrote an article about Rav-Kav and I'd like to add it to the template. Which category do you think would be most appropriate for it? Or perhaps a new category is required? You are of course more than welcome to read the article and help me improve it. Thanks, Yairp (talk) 18:21, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't get any response for eight months, so I've added a new category for smart cards. Yairp (talk) 10:36, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
