Ark[edit]

Wikipedia is not a place where anything that exists is automatically entitled to an article. The onus is not on me to prove that it's insignificant; it's your job to provide reliable media sources (newspaper or magazine articles, books, etc., which are published by independent sources) about the series, which demonstrate that it is sufficiently notable for inclusion. /* Megaphone desktop tool */[edit]

Hi,
Again in Israel lobby in the United States I reverted your edit. If you edit in good faith, please keep talks and edits in line. With yourself, and with other editors contributions. If you are "still new to Wikipedia", as you state yourself, please read WP:RS, WP:OR and such. This is an invitation to join the community.
On the other hand, if you can pull of an WP:AFD after 40 edits, I think you are not that new as you suggest. In that case, please read this as a warning that delusive behavior is not accepted.
Anyway, we have policies, and I ask you to read and apply them. -DePiep (talk) 21:36, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very well, I guess it stays then. This account is old, but rarely used, that's probably why I was able to pull off an AFD, which I discovered last week when an article I wrote got very quickly deleted because it was an Internet thingy with the only references to it were from the Internet, something that seems to describe Megaphone, especially since the Jpost link was broken.
For future reference, how exactly would you go about finding source material that something is "not notable"? The OR that you refer to seems to be my comments that searches on Google turn up nothing relevant. I'm not sure how else you would go about showing that. Also, what exactly do you mean "I turned 180 on the topic"?

Programming AfDs[edit]

Since you placed the AfD notices on the pages for Chef (programming language) and Piet (programming language) but did not complete the AfD process, I have removed the notices for now. If you complete the nominations, feel free to undo my removals. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:05, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sikrikim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Oddbodz (talk) 20:27, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposals[edit]

Just to let you know (in case you aren't watching the talk pages) that I have opposed your proposal to merge various articles into Esoteric programming language - see Talk:LOLCODE#Merge proposal. BTW, when you kick off a merge proposal you are supposed to create a section on the relevant talk page explaining your rationale for the proposal. Otherwise the discuss link points nowhere. Gandalf61 (talk) 14:31, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Yserbius, I noticed you tagged Piet (programming language) for merging a little while back, but you didn't include an argument for the merge on the talk page (Talk:Piet (programming language)#Merge proposal is the default target). If you're still interested in seeing that happen, I'd suggest you do that, or remove the tag if you no longer feel the merge would be an appropriate step. Otherwise, we at WikiProject Merge just wait until it's a year old and perform it or remove it as we see fit, which really isn't the best outcome for anyone. Disambiguation link notification for May 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kaaterskill Falls (novel), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Washington Heights (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

July 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Hanging Tree (The Hunger Games song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
