Rollback

User:RodRabelo7

Hello, for some time now I have been patrolling Special:RecentChanges occasionally and reverting vandalisms that I identify, using Twinkle. In addition to reverting, of course I also notify the users who commit these acts of vandalism. I also usually make reports to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. I'm adding this request for obtaining the rollback tool here because I would like to have access to semi-automatic tools, namely Huggle, which would greatly facilitate the work currently done with several clicks. I enjoy patrolling recent changes and I'm sure that becoming a rollbacker would make my work easier. I have been a rollbacker on Commons for over a year and understand how the tool works, as well as the risks associated with it, committing myself not to misuse it, under the risk of losing it and possibly being blocked.  Not done I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 06:14, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Fastily, I'll follow your advices! How many reverts do you think it's neccessary during this period? Cheers, RodRabelo7 (talk) 06:27, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not looking for a specific number. But I will say that it's not uncommon for experienced vandal fighters to make several dozen reverts a day. -Fastily 09:01, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
