1st Mechanized Brigade[edit]

The title 1st Mechanized Brigade follows the British Army spelling [1]. Also consensus should be obtained before controversial moves to long established articles. Jim Sweeney (talk) 17:58, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The name has changed[edit]

If you look within the article it does have the Army 2020 plan with the updated names. Gavbadger (talk) 21:36, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean this [2] brochure? If so, I am afraid that I cannot see the reference. Have you got a page number? Hamish59 (talk) 21:54, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1989[edit]

By the early 1980s the brigade, having been based in the UK for many years, formed the nucleus of the UK Mobile Force earmarked to reinforce Allied Forces Northern Europe in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe.

Moved from postwar section.
