Opening header[edit]

This article seems short enough to safely accomodate the whole of Protestation at Speyer, in my opinion. The Protestation seems to have been the main event. --Sam Blanning(talk) 11:23, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd rather merge them the other way 'round. The Article on the second has nothing but backround to the Protestation, merge it into the Protestation article. While we're at it it's the Protestation of Speyer not at Speyer.Sumergocognito 16:06, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Second Diet of Speyer and Protestation at Speyer are about different things, like Diet of Worms and Edict of Worms, or Augsburg Confession and Apology of the Augsburg Confession; therefore is better to leave it as is Kmorozov 04:57, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That works for me too.Sumergocognito 15:39, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Makes sense. I've removed the merge tags. --Sam Blanning(talk) 15:43, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

second diet of speyer???[edit]

why on earth is this article called "second" diet of speyer? over a period of 500 years there were around 50 diets in speyer. this one certainly was not the second one.--Sundar1 (talk) 13:10, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
