Ratings[edit]

The article should be rated C-class, not Start. ypnypn (talk) 05:04, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated?[edit]

very outdated article, among many problems, some of the parties listed are not even functioning anymore, perhaps it should be made easier to edit Stalwart Mugwump (talk) 20:57, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like the content in this article should reflect the elections held about 5 months ago and their effects on the political environment of Israel, instead of showing 4 year old information. --109.160.228.15 (talk) 18:52, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Zionism[edit]

Considering that Zionism has a heightened relevance in Isreali politics and creates another important dimension, it would be very useful to have the parties listed per their Zionism and also have a paragraph or two about the political and popular support of it, with actual numbers and graphs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.192.19.110 (talk) 12:50, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

change "The political centre (represented in the Knesset by Yesh Atid and Kulanu, and in the past represented by Kadima and Gil)" to "The political centre (represented in the Knesset by Blue and White, and in the past represented by Kadima and Gil)" since Kulanu is no longer and Yesh Atid is part of blue and white Stalwart Mugwump (talk) 21:08, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Add the new cabinet under Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid and end the Netanyahu administration. PieFace (talk) 11:32, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bennett is not the PM anymore[edit]

In the "Prime Ministers since 1996" section it is told that Naftali Bennett is the current prime minister, while he was replaced by Yair Lapid in July 2022 DirtyPotatoEditor (talk) 19:45, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Main article" reference[edit]

Is there any reason not to delete "Main article: Israeli legislative election, 2015" between the heading of Section #3 "Political parties and elections" and the section's text? Mcljlm (talk) 02:39, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Link Political Parties in Netanyahu III[edit]

Could an extendedconfirmed editor please wikify the political parties Shas and United Torah Judaism in the Netanyahu III section? Many thanks. Carleas (talk) 22:05, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1978-1995 New heading[edit]

This significant time period is missing from the article. This nearly twenty year period contains, among other things, the Settler movement, the first Intifada and Oslo - all three having had a major impact on how Israeli politics got to where it is today.

I propose adding the heading and a note requesting a qualified historian submit suggestions for its content.

One example of missing content is PM Yitzhak Rabin and his 1995 assassination. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Yitzhak_Rabin&oldid=1194339910
