No Theories[edit]

I appreciate the recent contributions of people on this Wikipedia page, however please NO THEORIES. Many text have been removed due to people adding in things that they believe is true to the series or a theory they believe is true, however unless it has been proven by Alex Kister himself, or a official episode of the series, it will be removed. Thanks! - The Creator of the Page Candeadly (talk) 21:58, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Should we remove the parts in overthrone where it talks about the text? AnimatorExtreme (talk) 18:17, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alex Kister Page?[edit]

As of writing this, Kister is working on a new series simultaneously along with The Mandela Catalogue, called "Mystifying Oracle". There are 2 episodes as of writing this, and Kister has confirmed that Mystifying Oracle is indeed a different series. Should we make a page about Alex Kister, or just a new page for the new series when (big if) gets bigger? AnimatorExtreme (talk) 18:52, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think as it stands currently there isn't enough external coverage of Alex to justify his own page. This could definitely change in the future, particularly if Mystifying Oracle gets some secondary/external coverage, but for now I think we should wait. Ok, thanks. AnimatorExtreme (talk) 14:22, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mystifying Oracle Add-On?[edit]

Right before the teasers for the 3rd episode, Kister confirmed on Twitter that Mystifying Oracle is now cannon to the Mandela Catalogue series, and is set in the same universe. He had stated before after the second episode came out that the series was meant to be a non-cannon, complete separate entity from TMC. However, he seems to have changed his mind and has stated that Mystifying Oracle is now a TMC spin-off. You can check Kister's Twitter if you don't believe me and want proof.

Should we still make a different page once Mystifying Oracle gets enough attention, or add it on to the main TMC page? AnimatorExtreme (talk) 12:25, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion of allegations[edit]

I'm kinda unsure if the current immediate inclusion of info relating to "accusations of predatory behavior" is entirely appropriate. The consequences of it pertaining to Mandela could be relevant, but these are some pretty serious claims and the current cited source seems to me like a celebrity content farm. Kinda strays into gossip territory which is pretty iffy when it directly pertains to a real person. Extra details like an actor quitting and VHS production stopping because of it are also currently not sourced. Davepeta (talk) 02:25, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please do not add anything about current allegations. I have been following up on them, and most allegations are either false or incredibly exaggerated and incorrectly sourced. Additionally, this page is about The Mandela Catalogue, not Alex Kister. Unless something happens to the production of this series, nothing should be added, period. I mean, several actors did drop out of the series, that could be considered something happening with production. KodakIsBored (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless there is no point in including the last part of "Development and production" if the article doesn't even attempt to clarify what the controversy is even about Trade (talk) 20:15, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
