Here are some open WikiProject Ethnic groups tasks:

Feel free to edit this list or discuss these tasks.

Bushmen?[edit]

The article on the San should not be called Bushmen I feel. As the artcle points out the use is mostly derogatory.

Shatuo[edit]

The article on the Shatuo Turks has suffered heavily from poor English input in recent months. The claim about the name meaning probably bears checking with historians familiar with chinese etymology of that era. Heaven's knight (talk) 03:39, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Venda people

I don't know how recent sources must be to be of viable reference for an article, but this article could benefit greatly from John Blacking's "How musical is man?" [1], an excellent field study, functional analysis and social analysis of some of the Venda people's music making and cultural context. Abuncha nada (talk) 00:12, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One item should be added to this list of tasks under the 'meta-tasks' section: Resolve the disparity in importance rankings among different ethnic groups. Jarble (talk) 03:22, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Also reduced protection to semi. I feel this is sufficient for this kind of page and allows editors to maintain it. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:14, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bwatiye (Bachama) is a Nigerian tribe not included in Nigerian tribes in your record and I want that to be done. Thus: Bwatiye (Bachama) people who have a reputation of being unconquered warriors in all their history. The Bwatiye people are led by a First Class King known as the Hama Bachama, who is the paramount ruler of the Bwatiye Kingdom, whose Voti (palace) is in Numan the administrative seat of the throne while Lamurde has another palace for the King as that is the spiritual or ancestral home of the Bwatiye people. The Bwatiye people are also found in places like Lamurde, Demsa, Girei, Song, Yola-North and South which are all local governments in Adamawa state. the people can also be found in the Cameroons. The name of the current King is Homun(King) Honest Irmiya Stephen, Kwire Mana Kpafrato II, a retired officer of the Nigerian Army who ascended the throne in 2012 succeeding Homun Asaph Zadok (late). The Queen of the Bwatiye kingdom is referred to as Mbamto and she is Queen Elizabeth Mbayuen Stephen41.203.73.46 (talk) 09:15, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
