User:Wjhonson/Act in good faith

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To act in good faith is a fundamental principle on Wikipedia. In allowing anyone to edit, we give a great deal of trust to people, and they should act to help it, not hurt it. If this weren't true, a project like Wikipedia would be doomed from the beginning.

Consider using talk pages to explain yourself, and give others the opportunity to do the same. This can avoid misunderstandings and prevent problems from escalating.
