Hi Bottleofink, any idea when this template (Template:New Testament Apocrypha) is going to be ready to use? I'd like to add it to a few article pages. Twillisjr (talk) 23:23, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heya! IIRC it should be pretty complete. I was considering separating it out into different schools of gnostic thought, so I hadn't moved it outta the sandbox yet, but then I never got around to that haha. I made it a real page, if you wanna start using it! If there's anything wrong or missing on it, feel free to fix it or let me know! Bottleofink (talk) 05:19, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That would be great. I'm having some issues with a zealot at the moment who seems to be obsessed with removing any Gnostic references from main pages. It would be nice to use this "series template" as a backbone for the books I will be citing. If interested, would love some companionship. Twillisjr (talk) 16:49, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How very strange. Yeah, what did you have in mind? (I'm still fairly new at doing Wikipedia stuff... haha.) Bottleofink (talk) 20:31, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, hey, before we start adding it to every page, do you think the template works better as a footer? I made an example in the sandbox. Bottleofink (talk) 22:50, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quick Question, are the Book of Enoch and Jubilees considered part of this? Twillisjr (talk) 16:52, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, they're Old Testament apocrypha. Bottleofink (talk) 20:31, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think it should be good, actually, would be nice to get one going for Old Testament apocrypha as well.. Twillisjr (talk) 21:10, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They're already a part of Template:Books_of_the_Bible though, but perhaps one with a larger range of old testament/inter-testament apocrypha, including stuff found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Or perhaps maybe just a Dead Sea Scrolls template. Hm. Bottleofink (talk)

Well, you are the man. I trust your good judgement and foresee a great number of important truths coming to light in the future. I've also been contemplating a "Portal:" of sorts to encompass all of it. Ideas? (Also, Decretum Gelasianum would be a nice addition, along with additional canon law that prevented the outreach of these gospels/documents). :) Twillisjr (talk) 20:49, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Template[edit]

I'm interested in putting together another piece, which includes "Apocalypse of Moses" would you be willing to work on it? Twillisjr (talk) 16:44, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
