Kristine Esebua[edit]

Hello, you left a message saying "This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Kristine Esebua, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted." I updated information about what country she competes for and gave a source. What was unconstructive about that? Thanks. Sheijiashaojun (talk) 05:14, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have just edited to revise the article Indonesia at the 2024 Summer Olympics, for the second or third time, and there are still two users, User:Muhammad fardhan rizqullah, User:Misterberuang, who use the editing column, adding a badminton section, even though the minimum date is April 16 for the publication of the final rankings, I have continued to revise it , but notice things like this can continue to happen in this article again and again. Can you help me solve this problem? Indo Sports Fans (talk) 08:34, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it has been removed. In the future you can also hide the text using <!-- TEXT --> Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 23:05, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Within the same issue, I even have to edit it repeatedly, on India at the 2024 Summer Olympics, with the same user, which is User:Hbzbmb, it has even been conveyed to that user, but he keep reverting his edit. Amnom Darius (talk) 15:33, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have failed to understand the difference between the end of the qualification period and the date a quota is confirmed. You are wrongly conflating the two when they are two different things. So, the problem is not with the edits by the other users you refer to but with you. Your arguments are bordering on ridiculous. The information needs to be correct. But the arguments you are making would make the wikipedia redundant. You are stating that if we see an athlete win an event at the Olympics on TV and it is widely reported in the media, the wikipedia page should not update until they receive the medal. This makes no sense whatsoever. Hbzbmb (talk) 15:49, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not misunderstanding, you are the one who can't differentiate badminton's final qualifying points for the Olympics, your points are ridiculous. Can anything be confirmed before April 28th? If the guide says it is the end of the qualifying date, it cannot be broken, that means finally, before those date, you cannot reach the quota. Amnom Darius (talk) 15:52, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I never even said this statement, even in his user talk, regarding "if we see an athlete win an event at the Olympics on TV and it is widely reported in the media, the wikipedia page should not be updated until they receive the medal" , totally accusatory. The point remains the same, before April 28, there will be no edits for the badminton column, because the ranking publication has not yet ended. Amnom Darius (talk) 16:01, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
