Sheikh Jarrah was an al-Husayni "stronghold"; one of their palaces was turned into the American Colony Hotel. It looks as if the whole area is now called American Colony (Jerusalem)?? I´m not sure, but it is for certain that the area that American Colony Hotel is located was once known as Sheikh Jarrah. Huldra (talk) 15:14, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, what is that for a blast from the past: the Sheikh Jarrah article was started 12 July 2009‎, Huldra (talk) 21:42, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Collecting sources[edit]

For sources for the various missing villages, look (mostly) at the talk pages of the relevant Governorates, Huldra (talk) 22:01, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
