Nevi'im Errata[edit]

The last sentence in this section is quoted below. The clause following "form," does not make grammatic sense. Sorry, I cannot fix it, because I cannot guess at the author's intended meaning.

"In the time of Jesus the book existed in its present form, with many prophecies in the disputed portions are quoted in the New Testament as the words of Isaiah."

Table I incomplete[edit]

There is no mention of Joel or Sirach in the first table. Also the Wisdom of Solomon is mentioned in two sections on that table.

IP was correct it seems, but you can't add material to sourced text that the source doesn't say. Doug Weller talk 09:37, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Convert to prose[edit]

This article is unsuited for the table format so I added {{Table to prose}}. – Treetoes023 (talk) 03:30, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd hardly call this a discussion. Achar Sva (talk) 10:14, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Treetoes023, you made this comment this month, yet the tag was added in January? What's going on? Achar Sva (talk) 04:41, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Achar Sva: I added the {{Table to prose}} in January, you removed it with the reason given being that it needs a discussion to be put on the article (it does not), I added the discussion to please you and reverted your change on removing the template. – Treetoes023 (talk) 07:15, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But there's been n o discussion. Ok, let's have one: why do you think the change would be a good idea?Achar Sva (talk) 11:14, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Achar Sva: See WP:NO-TABLES, specifically the section on prose. – Treetoes023 (talk) 22:42, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, if you're willing to do the work. Achar Sva (talk) 06:58, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Achar Sva: Ehhhhhhhhh, I don't really have the time or skill to convert this article to prose. That's why I added the template, so another user would see it and take action. It will probably be a while before anyone does something, I might get around to it on my own in a few months though. – Treetoes023 (talk) 07:05, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Obvious mix up of BC and AD/CE[edit]

The descriptions of dates for books in the New Testament describes all of them as from the first century BC. This is incorrect. They are from the first century AD. 2601:280:C500:F6C0:DD0C:2C7A:9244:A69E (talk) 16:08, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
